The mark consists of the letters “UTMB” depicted in stylized font and positioned above the words “THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS MEDICAL BRANCH.” To the right of “UTMB” is a shield design that features three triangles at the top of the design, with the center triangle containing a star.
