Promoting public awareness of issues of importance to pregnant people and families with children, namely, breastfeeding, health care reform, access to care, doula and lactation access, maternal and child nutrition, maternal mental health, quality childcare, child abuse prevention by means of public advocacy; Referrals in the fields of social services, housing insecurity, food insecurity, clothing insecurity, healthcare, child care, mental health, substance use, incarceration, insurance, public assistance, children’s basic needs, early learning services, perinatal support, rent and utility assistance, parenting groups, and grief support

Educational services, namely, conducting classes, workshops, seminars, and conferences in the field of health, nutrition, community resources, reproductive health, early childhood development, and pregnancy, birth, and parenting for pregnant people and families with children and distributing course materials in connection with those classes; early childhood education

Providing information to pregnant people and families with children concerning health, nutrition, comprehensive childhood development, economic security, and public benefits in the areas of nutrition, health and wellness; providing parenting counseling, maternal and child health care counseling and nutritional counseling

Family support services for pregnant women and families with children, namely, emotional counseling and emotional support services, counseling on intra-family relationships, support services for teenage mothers; providing information to pregnant women and families with children concerning child abuse prevention
