The mark consists of an eagle with wings expanded in front of a crest; the number 47 is located in front of the eagles chest inside a form which resembles a teardrop. The upper section of the crest behind the eagles head contains two rows of stars in a curved pattern; the bottom of the crest on the lower section of the eagle is vertical lines.
