CERTIFIED NATIONAL MODEL DISTRICT FOR DEEPER LEARNING

The certification mark, as used by authorized schools and school districts, certifies that K-12 schools, or entire school districts have met the certifier’s established standards for professional development programs for their educators and school administrators, schools and district have met specific criteria on standards and metrics. These standards ensure that participating schools and districts provide structured, research-based training that enhances instructional effectiveness, leadership skills, and student learning outcomes. The schools met standards and metrics on instruction with student-led teaming at its core, classroom learning environment, and instructional systems. Schools/districts authorized to use the mark must undergo a rigorous evaluation process and demonstrate compliance with the certifier’s professional development criteria, including faculty training hours, curriculum quality, and measurable improvements in teaching practices. The certifier is not engaged in the provision of kindergarten through 12th grade (K-12) classroom instruction but rather evaluates and certifies schools based on adherence to these professional development standards.
