BACK COUNTRY HORSEMEN OF AMERICA

Education and training services, namely, providing classes, seminars, and workshops in the fields of wise and sustainable use of the backcountry, and use of stock animals and horses in the wilderness, and their impact on the environment, and distribution of training material in connection therewith; providing and maintaining a system of trails and appurtenant facilities, including trailhead centers, picnic areas, recreational horseback riding areas, historic or cultural interpretive sites, and other recreational or educational facilities; providing and maintaining trails for use by horseback riders, horses, and mules; providing recreation information in the nature of horseback riding, trails, trail conservation and historic or cultural interpretive sites; providing education and training on trails and trail conservation; training of volunteer maintainers, land managers, and citizen-scientists in the fields of trails, conservation, and trail conservation.
