Design Mark
The mark consists of a sound. The harmonic foundation begins with a sustained chord featuring multiple layered tones and arpeggiated notes. These layers include sustained atmospheric pads and resonant overtones, accented synth tones, synth arpeggios, and rising glissando sub bass. The chord consists of the following notes: G2, A#2, C3, D#3, A#3, A#4, D#5, G5. This forms a G minor major 7 (GmMaj7) chord which is voiced in a wide register. The bass register (G2, A#2, C3) provides a foundation. The mid-range (D#3, A#3) adds harmony, and reinforces the minor-major 7th sound. The upper voices (A#4, D#5, G5) introduce a shimmering quality. This harmonic pad sustains, with subtle dynamic variations. The sequence concludes with a sharp and percussive “crunch” sound.
