The mark consists of circular crest design. I nside the outer border the stylized wording "DEPAUL COLLEGE PREP" is curved around the top and "CONGREGATION OF THE MISSION" is curved around the bottom. Inside the circle formed by the wording is a stylized Latin cross defining four quadrants, which depict in each quadrant (clockwise from upper left quadrant) a stylized Greek cross inside a circle, a stylized pair of hands forming a heart, a competition rosette ribbon, and a heart above a hand, with two pairs of six-pointed stars on each side of the circle.
