There are three grey lines to the right of the crest and three grey lines to the left of the crest. The crest sits atop a white background with gold stripe above and below the background. Below the lower gold stripe is a strip of red, followed by a strip of gold. In the center of the bottle is oval consisting of two brown concentric lines meeting at a triangular design on top. Between the concentric lines is the brown wording "AMSTEL LAGER · BROUWERIJ B.V. AMSTERDAM HOLLAND ·" on a gold and yellow background. At the top is crest in blue, gold and black with lions in blue and white, the letter "A" in gold, and the word "AMSTEL" in blue inside a gold plaque. The outside of the foregoing circle and shield design is bordered in white. Inside the gold and yellow circle outlined in brown in an interior circle of gray that outlines a circle that is white on top and red on the bottom. On the white area is the black wording "AMSTEL", and on the red area is the white wording "LIGHT" with black shadow.
