Design Mark
The mark consists of a bordered crest design overlaid by a ribbon that extends on either side of the crest. In the top half of the crest are eleven stars laid out across three rows with the interlocked letters D and C in the center of the top of the crest and the word WASHINGTON appearing in the bottom row of stars just above the ribbon. The ribbon has the word SPIRIT overlaid. The bottom half of the crest comprises thirteen vertical stripes of alternating colors. In the center of this stripe background is a soccer ball gripped by three talons with a single star in the center.
