The mark consists of "OUTDOOR AMERICAN" in stylized text within a single line square border which is broken on each side by the first "O" and the "R" in "OUTDOOR" and the first "A" and the "N" in "AMERICAN". Above "OUTDOOR" is a mountain with two peaks, and above the mountains are eleven five-pointed stars in an arc. Below "AMERICAN" are three trees protruding from the lower border. The letter "C" in "AMERICAN" is formed by a fishhook with a barb at the top, and which extends through the base of the "A" which follows.
