Design Mark
The mark consists of the following shield design outlined in black. The top of the shield is dark slate blue with the white wording "WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA" therein. The background of the bottom of shield is white, excerpt for an angled dark slate blue band. The design of grape vines, several leaves and three bunches of grapes is above the dark slate blue bland. The designs are all outlined in black and have a white background, except that the leaf stems, including those with no leaves, are entirely black. In addition, the veins of the leaves are gray. Inside the dark slate blue angled band are three WHITE designs that look like trees with three grapes thereon. Superimposed on the very bottom of the shield is a white banner that is outlined in black and contains the black wording "OMNIS ARBOR BONA FUCTUS BONOS FACIT." The remainder of the white in the drawing represents transparent or background areas and is not part of the mark.
