The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the goods provided have been evaluated for compliance with the certifier's standards that the goods are a digital asset and the services are provided for a digital asset, that the goods represent ownership or use rights of and the services are provided for digital assets with demonstrated commercial value distinct from the instrumental value of the goods and their ecosystem, that the majority of the value of the goods is tied to the value of the underlying digital asset, that the goods are tradable among a reasonably sized public trading population, that the goods and services are administered by a governance board having more than a reasonable proportion of independent members who are separate from the certifier, and that at least quarterly the goods are evaluated by an accounting of the underlying asset value with the accounting published in an accessible format, for example, the digital assets may use cryptographic validation or smart contracts to ensure accuracy of transactions or digital representations of the underlying assets.
