Design Mark
The insignia is the Historic Seal of the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes, and consists of two concentric circles, each outlined in yellow and featuring a blue background. The ring bounded by the two circles features the text "SEAL OF THE" centered on the top portion of the ring and the text "WICHITA AND AFFILIATED TRIBES" centered on the bottom portion of the ring. In the center-bottom portion of the inner circle is a traditional Wichita grass house, brown in color with black grid lines both extending from the upper tip of the grass house and circling the perimeter of the grass house. In center-bottom of the grass house is a rectangular opening, back in color, with a fire in the foreground red in color. Above and beside the grass house, evenly spaced throughout the top three-quarters of the inner circle, are seven four-pointed stars with circular centers, yellow in color. Below the grass house is a Calumet ceremony pipe, brown in color. Four white feathers, each with a black tip on its bottom end, are connected to, and hang below, the pipe.
