circular seal bearing a black and white depiction of a sparrow hawk with
a shield on its
chest containing symbols of the four countries with which the Nation has had alliances, including Britain, the United States,
France, and Spain; above the hawk are the five Olympic
rings, in recognition of the great Sauk athlete Jim
Thorpe; a
black ribbon arching
above and between
the tips of
the hawk's wings, on which appears the
name of
the great Sauk warrior
Black Hawk
in the Sauk language, Ma-Ka-Tai-Me-She-Kia-Kiak, in white letters; and all of which is within a red (Pantone 186 C) band encircling the seal that bears the name the "Sac and
Fox Nation" in white letters.
