Additional Information
Design Mark
The insignia consists of a large circle with a traditional pipe that cuts through the circle, separating the top and bottom. Below the traditional pipe is an image of the Tribe's traditional summer home sitting on top of a green grass field with a mountain resting in the background, as one would find in El Nacimiento, Coahuila (México). The deer, which is an important animal in Kickapoo traditions, stands on top of the pipe. There are four eagle feathers connected to a four-sided cardinal direction, which signifies the four seasons. The cardinal direction has a line that connects to a small circle, which is the sun.
