Design Mark
The mark consists of a set of sound effects and musical notes. The music plays at a tempo of 154 beats quarter notes per minute. The sound effect is a rushing, rumbling noise sound. It is heard alone for 470 milliseconds before the music begins. This is followed by three orchestral chords played by trumpets, French horns, trombones, tuba, taiko drums, violins, violas, cellos, double bass, and mixed vocal choir. The musical form consists of playing three versions of a D-Major chord in succession, with additional notes being added to the vocal-choir parts of the first chord on beat 2. The duration of the first chord is one half-note tied to an eighth note. The duration of the second chord is a dotted-quarter note tied to a half-note.
