The mark consists of a graphical representation of a personage representing Ebisu, the Japanese god of fishermen and luck. The personage with a smiling face is facing forward with a fish in his left hand and a fishing rod and a golden coin with a Chinese character pronounced as "FU" meaning "happiness" in his right hand. On the left side of the character's clothing above a line and within a circle there was a Chinese character pronounced as "LE" meaning "smile". The Japanese characters for "Ebisu" and the words "EBISU DRUG STORE" are arranged horizontally to the upper right of the personage.
