Design Mark
The mark consists of two concentric circles outlined in gold. The outer circle is red with gold five-pointed stars that appear throughout the outer circle. The inner circle is blue. The gold wording "NATIONAL DISTINGUISHED PRINCIPAL" appears at the top of the inner circle and two gold laurel leaves appear at the bottom of the inner circle. At the center of the inner circle a white shield appears with gold outline. At the top of the shield seven five-pointed gold stars appear. Three red and two blue vertical blue stripes appear on the shield outlined in gold. Across the center of the shield and over the vertical stripes, a blue diagonal stripe outlined in gold appears. The gold lettering "NAESP" appears in the diagonal stripe. The white background outside the concentric circles is not claimed as a feature of the mark.
