The mark consists of an image of a silhouette of a stylized Spartan battle helmet with two spears crossed behind and protruding from the helmet; the place where the spears would actually cross is obscured by the helmet, the bottoms of the spears are near the bottom of the image on each side and the tips of the spears are near the top of the image on each side, the spears appear to cross at approximately right angles.
