Systems and equipment for detecting discharge of a weapon, namely, gunshots, and aggressive or potentially aggressive behavior, comprised of audio sensors, microphones, video cameras, embedded software used to conduct analytics, and equipment in the nature of control panels and associated keypads, computer hardware and computer servers for processing and transmitting detection signals from sensors, including audio and image sensors, capturing activity, such as a gunshot, aggressive or potentially aggressive behavior, and for generating and issuing notifications, transmission of video evidence and detailed site information to others, including first responders or other stakeholders; systems and equipment comprised of computer hardware and audio sensors for providing timely notification of hostile acts taking place at a facility; electronic alert systems for detecting and alerting of a condition, including a gunshot or aggressive or potentially aggressive behavior, or a normal status condition, comprised primarily of computer software for monitoring and processing signals from audio sensors and/or video surveillance used to transmit data regarding hostile or potentially hostile acts, and normal status conditions, electronic audio sensors, microphones, central processing units, and embedded appliance in the nature of computer hardware, and communications equipment in the nature of transceivers, routers, switches, and/or modems, for the purpose of communicating a status or condition of an area or asset being monitored; the aforementioned systems and equipment featuring transceivers, video cameras and audio sensors installed on or around a location to be monitored, such as a building, to transmit data on safety conditions, including gunshots and aggressive behavior, to central processing facilities, and to receive automated alerts on other devices, such as cell phones, for operations and safety management personnel
