ZachyPac Description The ZachyPac was inspired and named after my grandson Zachary. The idea was to find a way to keep a baby's security blanket as clean as possible throughout the day, in order to keep a cleaner and therefore healthier blanket for a child to sleep with at night. With its innovative design, the end of the blanket is sewn to the inside lining of a pouch like pillow. This way the child can pull out only the amount of blanket he or she needs and keeps the rest of the blanket in its self contained pouch. Keeping the blanket cleaner and also keeps it from dragging on the ground making the ZachyPac ideal for toddlers. Once the child is done using the blanket all he/she has to do is stuff it back into the pouch for easy storage. This now transforms the pouch into a lovely and manageable pillow weighing less than a pound (12 - 14 oz). For more convenience, there is a small ribbon sewn to the upper corner of the blanket with a hook and loop (better known as Velcro) strip on the end. A pacifier or small toy can be secured to keep the attached item from falling yet still keeping it accessible to the child. Another distinctive feature is a small hoop which is sewn to the pouch. A carabineer (hook) is then placed into this hoop for easy attachment and removal from a stroller, grocery cart, car seat, etc. With the pouch hooked securely to one of the described items, the child can now easily handle his/her blanket, pacifier, or toy without any of them falling to the ground, getting dirty or lost
