Additional Information
Design Mark
The mark consists of a two-part label. The top part is a white rectangle that is wider than it is high, with rounded edges. The color of the outline surrounding the top part is not part of the mark and is not claimed; the outline is meant merely to indicate the shape of the white label on a white background. In the upper center of the top part of the label is a green spot with splattered edges. Below that are the words GREEN SPOT in green lettering, and below that the words SINGLE POT STILL IRISH WHISKEY in black with the words POT STILL in script. Below that are the words TRIPLE DISTILLED IRISH WHISKEY in black smaller type. On the right side of the white rectangle is an embossment depicting the following: a wooden barrel with two heads of grain, their stalks intertwined below the barrel and curve up on either side of it like a wreath; also extending out to either side from the bottom of the heads of grain are two stalks, each with three curling leaves; below the grain is the date 1805; all of these embossed elements appear in the color gold; the color gold in the embossed elements is not a feature of the mark, but merely to make the embossment visible. One of the leaves extending to the left, and the number 1 in 1805 are overlapped by the letter T in SPOT. The bottom part of the label is another rectangle that is slightly wider than the upper rectangle, but much less high. This rectangle is green that shades from a medium hue in the center to darker at the edges. Three yellow lines extend horizontally across most of the rectangle: one near the top of the rectangle, the second a bit above the center of the rectangle, and the third, about three-quarters of the way to the bottom of the rectangle. These lines do not extend all the way to the left or right edge of the rectangle. Between the first two lines are the following words in white lettering: FROM A TRADITION DATING TO 1805, COMES THE INSPIRATION FOR GREEN SPOT SINGLE POT STILL IRISH WHISKEY. Below that are the words TRIPLE DISTILLED, MATURED AND BOTTLED FOR in white lettering. Between the second and third lines, at the left hand side, is a yellow stylized depiction of a knight's helmet with a plume and shoulder plates, and next to that a short vertical yellow line that does not extend all the way to the horizontal lines above or below it. Next to that vertical line, but not touching it, is a horizontal yellow line that is closer to the line underneath than the line above. This line extends across the label to the right to the same point as the other lines.
Color Claim
