The mark consists of an oval design comprised of two concentric ovals, wherein the inner oval is filled with a filigree design and overlaid with a large filigree banner containing the word "LEMÁR" in large stylized font; above this banner inside the inner oval is a smaller rectangular banner with rounded dotted edges containing the word "CONTE" in smaller stylized font, and below the large banner inside the inner oval are two decorated circles, with the left-hand circle containing a stylized anchor, and the right-hand circle containing a stylized ship's wheel; the outer oval is also filled with a filigree design with an outline comprised of a rim of small circles; in small font curving along the upper rim of the outer oval is the wording "VENTUS NEPTUNI INTERRITA POTUM," and in the same curving font along the lower rim of the outer oval is the wording "NEPTUNO VISUM AMAT".
