Below the shield design is the word "CHAMPAGNE" in white, which is above the words "LAURENT-PERRIER" in white inside a gold scrollwork design which is generally oblong with curving intersecting designs. Below the gold scrollwork design are the words "MAISON FONDEE" in white appearing above "1812" in white. Further below "1812" in white appears the word "MILLESIME" in white. At the bottom of the box is a crown and feathers design in white above the words "BY APPOINTMENT TO H.R.H. THE PRINCE OF WALES PURVEYORS OF CHAMPAGNE CHAMPAGNE LAURENT-PERRIER" in white, which wording appears above the word "FRANCE" in white, which in turn appears above the stylized wording in white "TOURS-SUR-MARNE".
