Design Mark
The logo featuring SMA and 3-leaf maple adopts blue as its basic tone, which indicates the modern and fashionable atmosphere of Shanghai and the metal texture of automobiles. SMA is coined word and is the abbreviation of Shanghai Maple Automobile. The logo, in the shape of a maple leaf, has significant meaning. The upturned maple leaf in the center of the logo indicates that the company has its root in the Fengjing District, Shanghai, from whence it marches towards the whole country and the world.
Color Claim
The color(s) white, blue, grey and light blue is/are claimed as a feature of the mark.
Other
Blue is used in the outer part of the logo in a thin circle and a fat circle. Grey is used in the inner part of the logo surrounding the maple leaf. Light blue is used as color of the maple leaf at the center of the logo. White is used in circular form to separate the blue from the grey color areas and the grey from the light blue color areas.
