The certification mark, as used by authorized persons, certifies that the services are performed by dealers and distributors specializing in the distribution and/or sale of hardwood flooring products. The dealers must have a showroom and must have displays with a minimum of 48 samples of hardwood flooring products. Store owners and/or managers must participate in one plant visit training session within 24 months following their registration as certified dealers. Dealers may designate installers for the certifier's training sessions and allow installation professionals to become certified installers. Installation services must conform to practices developed by the certifier and consultation services are provided by professionals with a minimum of eight hours of training conducted by the certifier every two years.
