Design Mark
The mark consists of a double helix to the right of a square, the inside of which contains the literal element "THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY" in capital letters and in four stacked rows. The double helix is designed to evoke the image of a person. The portion of the helix above the twist resembles upward stretched arms, and resting between the helix is a solid circle resembling a head. The portion of the helix below the twist resembles two legs.
