The mark consists of a literal element and design elements wherein the literal element consists of the terms "CERTIFIED LAWYER REFERRAL SERVICE PURSUANT TO STATE BAR RULES AND REGULATIONS" and "THE STATE BAR OF CALIFORNIA JULY 29TH 1927" wherein further the phrase "CERTIFIED LAWYER REFERRAL SERVICE" is written on the upper portion of a circular background in a semi-circular style and forms an arc, and the phrase "PURSUANT TO STATE BAR RULES AND REGULATIONS" is written on the lower portion of the same circular background in a semi-circular style and forms another arc, and wherein further the two arcs surround an inner circle comprising the phrases "THE STATE BAR OF CALIFORNIA" and "JULY 29TH 1927" also presented in semi-circular formats surrounding a design of scales of justice with a silhouette of a bear across the top of the scales. A transparent rectangle is superimposed upon the lower center portion of the mark.
