N R NAVAL REACTORS OVER 50 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE

The mark is circular shaped and contains design and word elements. The mark consists of a graphical design depicting an atomic symbol comprising a nucleus made up of protons and neutrons and encircled by three globes representing electrons, each on its own elliptical orbit. The orbits are rendered as solid lines and depict each electron's orbital path about the nucleus. Superimposed upon the atomic symbol design elements are the uppercase letters "N" and "R", disposed immediately to the left and right, respectively, of the atomic nucleus. Four five-pointed stars are disposed below the atomic symbol in a shallow semi-circular arrangement. The atomic nucleus and stars are further disposed within a carrier circle. A rope-patterned line forms the carrier circle's border. An outer circle surrounds the carrier circle. A first phrase, uppercase "NAVAL REACTORS", is circumferentially disposed within the inside part of the carrier circle above the atomic symbol, and a second phrase, uppercase "OVER 50 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE", is circumferentially disposed above said first phrase and within the outer circle.
