The certification mark, as intended to be used by authorized persons, is intended to certify that various features and characteristics of a video/audio system meet the standards which will be submitted with the statement of use or the amendment to allege use. The features consist of the picture and audio quality. More specifically, as to the picture, the characteristics being certified include the color, (i.e. primary and grey scale), the contrast, the clarity, band width, frequency responses and signal stability. Concerning the audio characteristics, the features being certified include the acoustic performance, the pitch and tambour, the characteristics of sound from channel to channel or speaker to speaker and channel interaction with the physical characteristics of the environment.
