The certification mark, as intended to be used by authorized persons or entities, is intended to certify that the services cater to the special needs of amateur and professional sports organizations in accordance with one or more of the following characteristics - offering discounted group or team rates; offering upgrades or complimentary rooms for coaches; offering late meals and group meals; offering a security system tailored for teams and athletes; offering experience in hosting teams, athletes, sports events and conferences; offering close proximity to sports venues; offering complimentary transportation to sports venues, airports and city centers; offering complimentary parking for team buses; offering meeting and taping rooms, exercise room, pool, and other health facilities; offering access to golf courses, tennis facilities and similar recreational facilities; and offering services for youth sports teams.
